Both the car show and cruise are open to all cars. Any make, model or year can participate. Please be sure to register, so we can be sure to know whos coming.
The show will be judged by the Mayor and the Police Chief. The only criteria is what they like the best. Trophies will be given for the Mayor's Pick and the Police Chief's Choice.
We will start at the Cross Roads Shopping Center at the corner of Main and Hwy 72/32. The route will travel West out of Salem, on Hwy 72/32, with a ploice escort. We will head south on 119 to Montauk State park, then head east on Hwy E and then south on K to Ayers. East again on KK then south on Hwy 19 through Round Spring and west on Hwy 106 to Alley Spring, where we'll stop for a "Fend for Yourself" pic-nic lunch. There are not alot of places to eat along the rout, and definately none that can accomodate us all at the same time - so be sure to plan your luch accordingly. The return will head back to Hwy 19 on Hwy 106, then take 19 all the way back into Salem. We'll depart Salem at about 9 (Gather at 8:45) and should get back to Salem by 3 or 4. The Holiday Inn Express in Salem has a group rate set aside for the event. The rate is $110, be sure to mention the Current River Cobra Rally to get the rate.

The next major town is Rolla. It's about a 30 minute drive from Salem and has several options for lodging.
Local Salem organizations have graciously offered indoor parking on and around the center of town. There are two locations for parking; Heavin Motors and Knight Auto Care. You will recieve a garage assignment when you arrive in Salem on Friday. The list of available indoor parking spots is limited. Priority will be given to registered open toped cars, then first come first served, based on registration date. If you need a place to park, please register and note it in the registration. August 31st, we will email you and let you know if we have an indoor spot for you.
The City of Salem has set aside an area off of Highway J to park trailers. We will also be able to park trailers at the two places being used for indoor parking; Heavin Motors and Knight Auto Care. The latter two are walking distance to the Holiday Inn Express. Maps for all three locations are on the Maps Page - HERE
Get wet. Every man for himself! We'll make special arrangements to get inndoor parking open in the event of rain, for those who requested it.
